Our Story

Designed with intention.

How it began

A studio built on one question.

Nooré started in 2021 in a small Al Quoz studio with two machines, one pattern table, and a persistent question: why should choosing to dress modestly mean choosing between refinement and ease?

Our founder, having spent years in both Dubai and Paris, kept returning to the same frustration — that the abaya had not evolved at the pace of the woman wearing it. So we began making the pieces we wanted to find: considered, modern, and unmistakably ours.

The work

Fewer pieces, made properly.

We release four considered silhouettes a season rather than a rolling calendar of trends. Each one is developed over eight to ten weeks — pattern, drape, and fabric tested on real bodies before it earns a place in the collection.

Fabrics are sourced from mills we have worked with for years. Nothing is designed to be replaced next season, which is why most of what we make stays in the permanent range.

What guides us

Three quiet principles

01

Modesty without compromise

Coverage is a starting point, never a limitation. Every silhouette is designed to give you room to move and decide for yourself.

02

Fabric before trend

We start with how a cloth feels and falls, then cut around it. Trends are considered, never chased.

03

Built to be kept

Better construction, fewer pieces, and a repair-friendly approach. We would rather you kept an abaya for years than replaced it next season.

The studio

Dubai, at the centre of it.

Our studio and atelier sit in Dubai's Al Quoz, working with a small team of makers we have trained in-house. We produce in deliberately small runs, which keeps our waste low and our attention high.

Visitors are welcome by appointment — come try the collection in person and see the fabrics up close.
